Nutritional and Wellness Coach

The work is tailored with a holistic approach to the client’s requirements. We work together on the nutritional and lifestyle aspects to help maintain and improve health and well-being. The mindful and personalised process supports you to reach your health goals (weight management, healthy pregnancy, and more).

Flow and Restore

In this class, we experience two practices: Slow Flow (active) where we move the body to help it soften and create more mobility and breath awareness, and Restorative Yoga, a gentle, somatic and grounding practice, where we use props to support and encourage the body to release tension and get into a profound relaxation to reset, and recalibrate the nervous system.

Restorative Yoga

It’s a deeply nourishing yet powerful practice. The asanas/poses are held for long periods of time helping the nervous system to shift into a calmer and more balanced state. Slowing down, recalibrating and grounding ourselves is key to boosting well-being and supporting the body, and nervous system to release tension, stress, and anxiety. Yoga props are required for this practice: bolsters, belts, blankets, foam blocks, cork bricks, yoga chair, and eye-bag. Of course, if you are practising online you can use what is available: pillows, cushions, blankets or/and towels, etc. The practice helps us reset and become more present, aware and focused. Restorative Yoga was developed by B.K.S. Iyengar (1918-2014).

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced and meditative style of yoga that incorporates principles of traditional Chinese medicine (meridians/elements/organs, seasons of the year). Asanas are held for 3 to 5 minutes and sometimes longer. It’s based on the Taoist concept of ‘Yin/Yang”. It targets the deep connective tissue/fascia, ligaments, tendons (yin), muscles and blood (yang). Yoga props are welcome to support the body whilst practising. Some sessions can include a period of meditation. Yin Yoga was developed in the 1980s in California, by Paul Grilley.

Pregnancy/Prenatal Yoga

from 12th weeks onwards

I kindly recommend that you check with your doctor before starting practising (even if you’re coming from a regular exercise practice).

The classes are designed to support the mother-to-be on the journey from pregnancy to birth. Staying active during pregnancy can benefit you and your baby’s well-being. Practising safely building up breath awareness, nourishing, understanding, connecting and feeling more confident with your changing body and your baby.

Face Yoga

Bringing awareness to the importance of our facial health: how to correctly workout this area, stimulating the facial muscles and skin to help to keep your face toned and sculpted, uplifting your look and improving your body posture. Practising the exercises can also improve focus and concentration helping to shift the nervous system into a more relaxing state. It also boosts blood circulation, collagen production, skin elasticity and self-esteem.

Meditation

Guided session to strengthen concentration, and focus. It helps to induce calm and improve the quality of sleep

Bach Flower Remedies Practitioner

The Bach flower remedies are a complementary treatment. Dr Edward Bach, a medical doctor and homoeopath, developed the 38 Bach Original Flower Remedies in the 1920s and 1930s. It offers a holistic approach to emotional balance and provides a simple system attuned to the body and mind. Each remedy is associated with a specific emotion. They can be taken in combination (blend) or individually. The most known is the Rescue remedy and/or Rescue remedy Kids. The Bach flower remedies are safe to use by adults, children and pets. If the remedy chosen is not the right one for you, it will have a placebo effect. They’re not a substitute for any medical treatment the person is going through and it can be taken along with the medications.

It is recommended to consult a practitioner.

‘There is no true healing unless there is a change in outlook, peace of mind, and inner happiness.’ Dr Edward Bach
